Heritage Crafts takes the care of your data seriously, and undertakes to protect your personal information in a range of ways. These measures include implementing specific technologies and procedures designed to protect your privacy, such as secure servers, firewalls, and back-up procedures.

Heritage Crafts compiles data concerning the way in which the website is used through automated logging: this information cannot be used to see how identifiable individuals are using the site. It is collected by means of click-stream tracking and the use of automatic logging files as you browse the website. The information collected will include details of the IP address of your machine, the type of browser and operating system you are using, the time of your visit, the pages viewed, and any search queries you may make.

In order to register your support and/or become a member, or to purchase event tickets or other goods and services, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself. The information provided will only be used by Heritage Crafts to help fulfil its aims and objectives and to facilitate communication. If you allow us to reclaim tax on your membership or donation through the GiftAid scheme, we will pass your personal details to HMRC in order for us to make the claim. Where storage or processing of personal data is carried out by another organisation on behalf of Heritage Crafts, we choose a supplier providing sufficient guarantees in respect of the technical and organisational security measures governing the storage and processing to be carried out, and take reasonable steps to ensure compliance with those measures. Heritage Crafts is aware that countries outside the European Union have differing approaches to data privacy laws, and that enforcement may not be as robust as it is within the European Union. We therefore take particular care if your data goes outside this area.
